All sites onĀ blogs.pcc.edu have been updated to WordPress 3.9. Unlike the last update, there are no big visual changes to the administrative interface. However, there are a few things to note about the editor:

Images and video previews

This version includes big updates to the editor that you use to create and edit posts. Remember those gray blocks that show up when you try to include an image galleries or video? Those are now replaced with actual previews of the content.

Headings and styles

Another change to the editor includes how you set the headings and styles. The two, separate select boxes have been replaced with a single, unified box called “Formats”. All you favorite PCC styles should still be accessible.

PCC offers this limited open forum as an extension of the respectful, well-reasoned discourse we expect in our classroom discussions. As such, we welcome all viewpoints, but monitor comments to be sure they stick to the topic and contribute to the conversation. We will remove them if they contain or link to abusive material, personal attacks, profanity, off-topic items, or spam. This is the same behavior we require in our hallways and classrooms. Our online spaces are no different.
