On Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at approximately 0925 hours, the pictured vehicle (black 4-door Volvo, unknown Oregon plate) and the above pictured subject are suspected of being involved with the theft of a backpack from a vehicle in Parking Lot 1 at the Cascade campus.

Video surveillance shows the suspect vehicle scouting Parking Lot 5 and the Underground Garage before parking in Lot 1 and stealing from the victim’s vehicle.  Before and after the theft, the suspect is seen peering into multiple cars in Lot 1, all of which to appear to be Hondas.  The victim vehicle, a 2006 Honda Accord, was found unlocked by the RP, indicating the suspect may be in possession of a shaved, or “jiggle”, key intended for entry to Hondas.

While the suspect vehicle plate is not clearly readable in any footage, the first character is believed to be a “7”.

PCC offers this limited open forum as an extension of the respectful, well-reasoned discourse we expect in our classroom discussions. As such, we welcome all viewpoints, but monitor comments to be sure they stick to the topic and contribute to the conversation. We will remove them if they contain or link to abusive material, personal attacks, profanity, off-topic items, or spam. This is the same behavior we require in our hallways and classrooms. Our online spaces are no different.
