Have you ever thought about starting your own business? Perhaps you are retired or you have been laid off, and you’re looking for some extra income or something to keep you busy. Encore Entrepreneurship is on the rise for people like you.  Never before has it been easier for 50+ individuals to monetize their knowledge, skills, and experience. Life By Design NWTM and the Oregon Small Business Development Center Portland Community College present Encore Entrepreneurship to help you turn your experience into a rewarding small business.

 

Encore Entrepreneurship is more than a class. 

The Oregon Small Business Development Center Portland Community College has worked with thousands of small businesses to get started and become more profitable.  The Encore Entrepreneurship program is designed to give you a holistic approach to starting your own business, based on your life experience and interests, working alongside your peers. In this program, we’ll help you:

① Assess yourself as an entrepreneur and decide if entrepreneurship is right for you

② Generate several business ideas and help you decide on the right business concept

③ Create an action strategy through developing a business plan

④ Set yourself up for success by learning key business concepts and topics

⑤ Develop your business for long-term prosperity

 

Encore Entrepreneurship pathway.

  1. Encore Concept Development: Develop a viable business idea. $200
  2. Business Design Series: Develop a basic business plan. $125
  3. Better Smarter RicherLearn and understand the principles of solopreneurship. $299
  4. Solo Business BuildersLearn business principles of sales, marketing, goal setting, and more. $1,000

Nothing’s impossible! I am working in the greater Houston area, “BOOMTOWN,” and love the idea of moving back to where I belong in the Portland area. Not sure when I can make it back, but I am registering for the Dec. 4, 2014 class with hope that I can logistically and economically find a way to ‘It’s possible!’
